My 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review

This was the first book that I have read that has the lockdown included as part of the story. I was impressed with the way the situation was used, as it brought several families together under different and difficult circumstances. Experiencing the lockdown really did make us review our lives and our relationships, just as it did with the characters in this amazing book.
We are introduced to some very interesting characters who all dealt differently to their lockdown time, and it was fascinating to see them come through the situation and to try and move on with their lives.
Part psychological thriller, part family drama this engaging story keep my attention throughout. Emotional moments at times, plus some triumphant moments, I found myself thinking about the characters, even when away from my book, and was constantly wondering about what decisions they would finally make.
As always an excellently written book by one of my favourite authors, I highly recommend this dramatic and compelling book to everyone.

About the author

Patricia Dixon lives in Manchester and is an international best-selling author of sixteen novels.

She writes contemporary and psychological literary fiction, and her stories are often set in her home city and the Loire. Both places are close to her heart and from where she gathers inspiration for her characters and tales.

In May 2017 she signed with Bloodhound Books, leading fiction publishers.

Her latest is due for release in April 2023
