I’m a writer, traveller and hopeful romantic with a lengthy bucket list. I love exploring new places, outdoor adventures, and eating and drinking like a local when I travel, and many of my travel adventures have found homes in my novels. I’m also an avid reader, a film buff, a wine lover and a coffee snob.
My first novel, a romantic comedy set in Greece and inspired by my real-life love story, was published in June 2019 by One More Chapter (HarperCollins). In 2020, two follow-ups in the Holiday Romance series hit the shelves: That Night in Paris and A Sunset in Sydney. 2021 saw the publication of my 5th novel, The Dating Game, which is set in the fascinating world of Reality TV. The next two books in the Holiday Romance series are set in Bali and Tuscany and they’ll be followed by The May Ladies’ Christmas, a follow-up to The Christmas Swap, my Christmas book from 2020.
Like most authors I have a dozen ideas humming away in the background for new stories. Next, I’ll be working on a new romcom series!

My ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ Review
Another fantastic festive book from Sue Moorcroft!
A gorgeous setting in a beautiful community, it was fabulous to meet Sky and watch her reunite with a special place from her childhood.
Some emotional moments and as always dealt with very sympathetically. It was interesting to see how the characters overcame their difficult pasts, and how it made them view their future and relationships they make.
Lovely and festive, it was great spending time in Winter Street and meeting the inhabitants.
A proper Christmas treat!

I have really enjoyed reading this fantastic series of books over the year, it’s been so entertaining joining Louisa and her family and friends through a very hectic year! ( I can totally see why Louisa loves a list!) It’s been a rollercoaster of a year for her, however the wonderful community and family around her have made all the difference.
My review follows the book blurb 😊
Just One Day Autumn
Book 📖 blurb 🍁🍂🎃
Pregnant Louisa is just getting back on track when life throws her another curveball. Now, it’s not a case of how she’ll get through her to-do lists but how she’ll manage being a mum again.
No one seems to understand. How will she run her company, be partner in a new venture, look after her three kids and handle a newborn? And why does everyone think this will be easy? Except her.
All Louisa wants is to be a good mum, wife, friend, sister and daughter, and have a bit of time left for herself, but sometimes that’s too big an ask. Can she find the support she needs, or will she forever be pulled in too many directions, always at the mercy of her to-do lists?
“Great book couldn’t put it down, didn’t want it to end. Love this author’s writing style . Pure enjoyment to read.”
“This was a well-written and engaging story of the multiple demands on a working mom’s time, and I could fully relate and smile along in understanding.”
My review 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
The final part of our adventures with Louisa and her family and friends. So much going on in her life, it was great to catch up with her and see what was happening as the year progresses onwards. It’s really like reading a soap opera, lots of unexpected happenings and surprises kept me reading avidly.
It’s a clever idea for a book series and I completely warmed to the characters that we met throughout the books.
I’m going to miss my time with Louisa and her lists that often made me chuckle!

A Christmas Celebration
Book 📖 blurb ❄️🎄🪵
When Paige turns up unannounced at Wynthorpe Hall, she discovers the place she knew when she was growing up has changed beyond all recognition. She’s only planning to stay for a short time, but is quickly pulled into local life.
One night while driving home after delivering library books and shopping to residents she stumbles across an isolated cottage and meets Albert, its elderly and rather grumpy owner. She quickly realises there’s more to Albert than meets the eye and the same can be said for the other man she can’t seem to help running into, handsome but brooding Brodie.
All three of them have a secret and a desire to hide away from the world, but with Christmas on the horizon, is that really the best way to celebrate the season?

‘This heartwarming story by Heidi Swain’ Hello
My 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄 review
A fabulous festive trip back to one of my favourite book locations, Wynthorpe Hall, rejoining the remarkable Connelly clan in the build up to Christmas.
This time we are meeting Paige, the God Daughter to Angus and Catherine, who has come to the Hall under a dark cloud and feeling guilty about something that occurred in her previous job.
Soon the community lifts her spirits, and a chance discovery brings her some much needed positivity and the opportunity to move on from her troubles. An unexpected run in with the handsome Brodie also gives her much to think about too. Can he heal her heart, and can love bloom in the midwinter?
It’s always such a pleasure catching up with all the characters from Heidi’s previous books, and the festive happenings are perfect for getting me in the seasonal mood!
Christmas isn’t Christmas without my Heidi read, and I’m already planning my reread in December snuggled in front of my fire, hot chocolate poured and Christmas lights sparkling!
Kiltie Jackson wrote one of my favourite ever Christmas books back in 2017, A Rock ‘n’ Roll Lovestyle, so I was extremely excited to see that she had written another Christmas story!
And I was not disappointed with this beautiful and uplifting book, filled with adorable characters, funny and feisty characters and so much Christmas cheer in every chapter that it made me warm inside and so excited for the festivities to come!🎄
Book 📖 blurb 🎄❄️⛄️🎁🎅🏼
A Snowflake in December
When Christmas is the time of year you hate the most, what does it take to make you love it?
“I’ve come to the conclusion that Kiltie’s books are modern day fairy-tales. There’s love, suspense, villains, wishes & dreams fulfilled. I say modern day because you’re not going to get the white knight swooping in to rescue the fair helpless maiden but you will have that same swoon-worthy feeling…”
Polly Snowflake hasn’t celebrated Christmas since her father died on Christmas Day when she was fifteen years old and, twenty years later, she has avoiding the festive season down to a fine art. That is until she meets Maxwell Watkins, a fully-fledged lover of Christmas, who vows to thaw out her frozen Christmas spirit.
Taking the idea of an advent calendar, Maxwell sets a different ADVENT-ure each day from the 1st to the 24th December, covering all manner of wonderful Christmas delights. As they spend time together, Polly begins to wonder if Christmas is the only thing she’ll be opening her heart to. That is, until Maxwell’s glamourous super-model ex-girlfriend arrives back on the scene…
Will this be a Christmas for Polly to remember or yet another she’ll want to forget?
My ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ review
A gorgeous Christmas story that completely uplifted my heart!
I instantly warmed to the lovely Polly, and felt for her after hearing her tragic back story. Fate threw her ( literally) into the lives of Monty and Maxwell, and it was wonderful to see her have the opportunity to fall back in love with the Christmas season once more.
I enjoyed the daily Christmas themed adventures, and was drawn into the blossoming friendship that gradually grew into romance.
As always in a Kiltie book there were lots of hilarious laugh out loud moments and some brilliant one liners. I do so love a feisty character or two!
This is the perfect Christmas read to get you in the festive frame of mind, but do be warned, it will have you craving hot chocolate and some delectable Christmas bakes as you read it!
So stock up on the mince pies, grab a snuggly blanket and make a delicious drink and let Kiltie whisk you away on an amazing ‘advent-ure’ that will make you smile and will fill your heart with the best time of the year happy feelings.
Another Christmas classic book to add to my ‘I must read this again at Christmas pile’ that I have reserved for the days leading up to the big day!

About the author
Kiltie Jackson spent her childhood years growing up in Scotland. Most of these early years were spent in and around Glasgow although for a short period of time, she wreaked havoc at a boarding school in the Highlands.
By the age of seventeen, she had her own flat which she shared with a couple of cats for a few years while working as a waitress in a cocktail bar (she’s sure there’s a song in there somewhere!) and serving customers in a fashionable clothing outlet before moving down to London to chalk up a plethora of experience which is now finding its way into her writing.
Once she’d wrung the last bit of fun out of the smoky capital, she moved up to the Midlands and now lives in Staffordshire with one grumpy husband and another six feisty felines.
Her little home is known as Moggy Towers even though, despite having plenty of moggies, there are no towers! The cats kindly allow her and Mr Mogs to share their home as long as the mortgage continues to be paid.
Since the age of three, Kiltie has been an avid reader although it was many years later before she decided to put pen to paper – or fingers to keyboard – to begin giving life to the stories in her head. Her debut novel was released in September 2017 and her fourth book was a US Amazon bestseller in Time Travel Romance.
Kiltie loves to write fiery and feisty female characters and puts the blame for this firmly on the doorsteps of Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables and George Kirrin from The Famous Five.
When asked what her best memories are, Kiltie will tell you:
1. Queuing up overnight outside the Glasgow Apollo to buy her Live-Aid ticket.
2. Being at Live-Aid.
3. Winning an MTV competition to meet Bon Jovi in Sweden.
(Although, if Mr Mogs is in earshot, the latter is changed to her wedding day.)
Her main motto in life used to be “Old enough to know better, young enough not to care!” but that has since been replaced with “Too many stories, can’t type fast enough!”
Perfect for an autumn 🍂 read, it’s wonderful to visit Glendale once more and meet some more lovely characters from this beautiful setting.
I love Art Deco, so it was an added enjoyment to watch Lorna and Adam restore Dove House back to its former glory.
My review follows the the book blurb 😊
Dreams Come True At Glendale Hall
Book 📖 blurb 🏡
Lorna is following her dreams. But can she follow her heart?
Lorna Ferguson has dreamt of opening her own bed and breakfast in the village of Glendale for as long as she’d pictured falling in love. While her love life remains frankly hopeless, Lorna is determined to secure Dove House – the home she imagined living in as a child – to start this new venture with her family.
Along with brother Adam, Lorna starts restoring the house to its Art Deco glory, but faced with a whole host of renovation problems and their money fast running out, they worry that Dove House will never be ready to open in the New Year.
When a mystery man turns up, needing to fulfil a promise he made to his dying father and find the object he left at Dove House many years ago, Lorna’s heart goes out to him. But what they find there is going to change both of their lives forever.
Facing problems at every turn, and distracted by her heart, Lorna is going to need all the magic that her beloved Glendale can supply to make all her dreams come true…
An uplifting, inspirational and romantic read that will warm your heart. Fans of Jenny Colgan and Heidi Swain will love this.

A fabulous trip back to Glendale, this time focusing on Lorna and her brother Adam as they try to make their dreams of owning a bed and breakfast come true.
Such a lovely community, you are soon drawn into their challenge and intrigued by the mystery in the attic.
The arrival of the gorgeous and mysterious Finlay adds a further interest and it’s fabulous to see him start to connect to the house and community that his family once lived in.

Historical fiction is one of my favourite genres, and I also love a duel timeline story too, so this gorgeous book by Jenni Keer ticked many of my things I enjoy in a book list!
Some intriguing characters and an interesting story, I soon lost myself in this book, finding myself changing my opinion of the characters as I delved into their sometimes troubled history.
My ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review
Such a interesting and intriguing story, the surprises and twists kept me avidly reading along.
I enjoy duel timelines, and this one was no exception. There were many times when I gasped with surprise, or found myself changing my opinion on the characters! This book certainly kept me on my toes!
Without giving any spoilers away, I can say that I didn’t guess the outcome at all! I enjoyed watching Phoebe attempt to work out the riddles and find out her own history, linked to the Hall. It’s true, not all things are as the seem on first sight!
Cleverly written and with characters that you may find odious one moment, then likeable the next, it’s all in their backstories that unfold as you read.

I was thrilled to be included in this blog tour for Karen Louise Hollis’s fantastic book, Welcome to Whitlock Close. I adore everything 80s , so delving into this book was right up my street! It was a huge pleasure celebrating its release with a publication day party 🎉 and posting lots of fun 80s memories too.
Book 📖 blurb 🤸🏻
It’s 1981 and the Thorpe family – Robert, Sandra and their eleven-year-old daughter Louise – decide to move from the city of Lincoln to a village seven miles away. Moving into New Barnham, they must each find their place in a village where they know no-one and Louise has to start at a big new secondary school.
The cul-de-sac they move into has eight semi-detached houses. Behind each front door live people with their own lives, their own stories to tell. Soon the whole of Whitlock Close will become involved in each other’s lives, each other’s stories.
The village has its own events too and besides the households of Whitlock Close, we find out about the book club and the Village Twinning Committee, while Louise joins the City Gymnastics Club for her own adventures.
In a Close which has all types of people, and all ages from four years old to a man in his nineties, it is understandable that all kinds of emotions will be found here. From young love to the loneliness of widowhood, from temptation and addiction to fun and friendship, we find everything here in Whitlock Close.
And lots of dogs and cats.
My 🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️ review
I really love looking back at the 80s, so I totally enjoyed the nostalgic memories this fabulous book stirred in me as I read about the inhabitants of Whitlock Close. Such an interesting idea for a book, there was enough action and intrigue to keep me entertained and turning the pages. It is like a soap opera in book form as we are treated to the going’s on in the close in 1981-82.
For those who have lived those years this will definitely bring back memories and for those youngsters it will give you a taste of that decade perfectly.

I really enjoyed the reminiscent tone of this book and am looking forward to reading more about the inhabitants of the close.
What’s your best 80s memories?
Mine was the family holidays by the seaside, and of course the music 🎶 My fashion sense left a lot to be desired! But hey, everyone wore that stuff!
So for a fabulous trip back in time to my teenage years, I highly recommend this wonderful book. Sometimes it’s easier looking back than looking forward!
Thanks to Karen Louise Hollis for my preview copy and Rachel’s Random Resources for a space on this tour. All my thoughts and reviews are as a result of my own opinion.
Happy Publication Day Isabella May! 📖🍾

Fantastic characters in some hilarious situations, it’s a fun filled romp that will keep you entertained throughout the story. The Wedding Cake
Book 📖 blurb 💒👰🏻♀️🤵🏻🍾
One steamy summer in Spain. One accidentally double-booked eight-tier wedding cake that needs to put in a same day appearance at a rustic countryside finca AND a beachside villa. Two brides. Two grooms. Hundreds of hungry guests.
FREYA ASHCROFT, owner and culinary whizz at Marbella’s five star bakery (and general queen of dating disasters), is going to need a miracle to save this date. If only that was her sole dilemma. She’s also fallen head over heels in love with super hot fitness instructor, TIM NUTKINS… and his rippling abs.
Which would be fine, if he wasn’t one of her aforementioned male clients.
A forced proximity rollercoaster of a forbidden love romance with a sweet happy-ever-after.
My 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾 review
Such a delicious read!
So so happy to be reunited with some old friends from Isabella’s earlier books. I also loved the new characters, Tim was a saint for coping with Piper’s over the top demands and outrageous behaviour! Freya was brilliant too, I adored the cake making descriptions and her positive outlook on life.
Some hilarious moments in a gorgeous setting, it was a fun and refreshing summer story.
Now I am desperate to go on my own jaunt to Spain 🇪🇸 and experience some of the scrumptious food that is mentioned throughout the story.

Where Our Paths Meet
Book 📖 blurb 📚
Evelyn Storford has returned home.
Buying a failing independent bookshop, and nursing a broken heart, she relishes the challenge to make her business successful in the sleepy Suffolk town of Taverton. With her bookshop colleagues and widower father a growing presence in her life, she grapples against the memories of her marriage and the lingering feelings towards estranged husband Ishmael.
A story about family and friendship, grief and love, Where Our Paths Meet introduces a collection of characters, all interlinked and facing various crossroads in their lives.
My 📚📚📚📚📚 review
This was a gorgeous heartfelt book, the characters touched my heart with their personal stories, and I loved the way their experiences became interwoven as the story expanded.
I’m a sucker for a story based in a book store, and I enjoy seeing characters take a chance on following their dreams. Who doesn’t like seeing others succeed?
The setting was also lovely, the community feel was wonderful, I loved seeing the community come together to support each other, it helped make this a joyful and uplifting experience.
I am looking forward to returning to this fantastic community again, to discover what other tales are to be told of the inhabitants of Taverton.
