My 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review

I really enjoyed this cosy mystery, I found it very intriguing and I loved the additional side story about the former inhabitants of Rookery Farm too. It gave this fabulous story another level of mystery.
I liked the character of Georgina, she was a character who had depth and someone you could imagine being friends with. I liked the community of friends that she has around her, who have helped her settle into her new life.
This was a real page turner and I couldn’t put it down!
I’m already looking forward to the second book from this series as I found the setting and characters to be so interesting and enjoyable. — with Kate Hardy.

A note from author Kate Hardy 

After I got hearing aids, the author in me wondered: what if I could hear things that other 

people couldn’t? I knew the idea wouldn’t fit in my romance novels, so I filed it in the back 

of my head… where it somehow connected with the fact that I grew up in a haunted house, 

marinated a bit, and then insisted on being heard. That’s how I started writing the first 

Georgina Drake story. The series is set in Norfolk, England, roughly around where I live (just 

outside Norwich); if you love the countryside, this is for you. Although it’s a cozy crime novel 

(you’ll get the expected mystery to solve – there’s a cold case as well as a current one) it’s 

also about learning to move on, about friendship and history and community. With a Kate 

Hardy novel, you’ll always learn something new. Expect cake, Shakespeare, puns, music… 

and a spaniel, because my editpawial assistants like their walk-on part!
