Oh my goodness this was an amazing book!
I really love reading books that have retro themes and this one was done so very well. The way it switches from Charlieβs current life to her teenage years was brilliant. So many things reminded me of my own life, that rush of first love and finding your own way as an adult.
So sympathetically written, you could feel the emotions of Charlie throughout her life, and it was thrilling to watch her find love and experience all those special first times.
I was extremely emotionally invested in the story and found it impossible to put down!
Such a thoughtful and insightful story that had me reminiscing about my teenage years and first adventures in love.
